~*~3 Hours Later~*~
I got up and went to the limo once again and left for the airport.Jess was already there.
"Any news?"she asked looking at me.
"Yes..Brian..is going into sugry.They found another hole in his geart."I said taking her bag.She started to cry.
"It's going to be okay."I said giving her a hug.We got to the hospital.
"Nick...I have to talk to you now."Howie said pulling me into a darkened room.
"Brian is outta sugry,but isn't going to live very long."I started to have tears develope.It wasn't right.I feel so sorry for Jess.
"Is that the whole thing?"I asked.
"No,Brian told the doctor that he wanted me to take his place.I dunno why though."
"Oh..I guess that would be better.Your closer to her age anyway."I sad sadly.I went back into the hall where Jess and the guys were.
"Can we see him now?"I asked the doctor as he went by.
"Sure."We all walked in there as quiet as could be.He was lying there so still not moving at all.
"Hey little buddy."Brian said to me.
"Hey."
"Is Jess here?"He asked.
"Yea".Jess went over to Brian.She started to cry.She couldn't bare to see Brian like that again.Not after what happen the first time.
"Jess?"
"Yes,Brian."
"I love you"He said to her so sweetly.
"I love you too"Those were the last words he ever said to her.The montor went off.I comforted her.I didn't tell her about Howie.
"Jess?I have to tell you something."
"What?"She said wipping the tears from her face.
"You're going with Howie.Brian said it would be better 'cuz he's closer to you're age."Howie took her.You could tell she didn't want to be with him. |
